Posts: 3987 (07/03/05 04:42:26) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Currently missing from JBI World are - Most of the Threads - Around 1000 members lost - Donation lost from Community Chest Here is the situation as I have found out so far, ezboard are still restoring stuff to the network, now I am not sure if that means they have tried JBI World or not, but according to their updates they are still doing it. I have left a message with the help forums regarding JBI World and am waiting on a reply to that, I shall not be letting this go easily as there is a massive amount of data lost here and this board generates and has generated a LOT of traffic for ezboard, at one point it was around 10000 hits a day, I am very sad at this situation and will be working as hard as I can to fix it. With regards to posting new caws, I would appreciate it if you can all gather up as many as you can find, but don't post them yet as a restoral may delete new posts, I am not sure yet I am still waiting on info. When I know, you will know. Keep this topic bumped as I will be putting updates here. Passmaster666

A lot easier to create boards, faster loading times, I could get most of the members from my site to join. What we need is a whole new site, like I said, on ProBoards ideally. Heres and example cause I use it for my System of a Down Message Board... check it out 14.freebb.com/index.php?f...soadomized Just give it a though, and b4 everyone starts hampering you with requests to be Admins, I think is only fair that everyone stop and let pass do his thing and pick his own admins, He know the people who deserve it and who have been here long enough to have earned it, so let him pick!

I ain't fussed, but I may have some stuff to offer. I still think ProBoards is a great idea, with the new update to V4 and all that stuff, it may be just what we need to get the ball rollin' again. The again, everyone has their own preferences for which server to use, ProBoards, InvisionFree, phpBB, all those. But again, pass gets the last word. I'm a guy who sticks to his guns, so I'm sticking with the ProBoards idea. I've been with ProBoards for 3+ years and have never had any trouble like this. Trust me, it's what we need. Pass, your call bro...

This would enable access to the caws whether or not I decide to change over, the reason I mention proboards is because I have got some experience with them, and could use them pretty easily, for now I have started gathering up caws though I am not far in yet. Any admins/mods and the like will be decided later, after this has all been sorted and a new board has been set up if I decide to do so. I will keep everyone updated though. Cheers

With regards to ezboard, they have tried to reload it again but to no avail, unfortunately it looks like the old posts are gone forever, its not their fault though, its the hackers so I haven't got a beef with them.
